Malhar sat in his room, looking out the window. He was waiting for his grandfather, Devadas, to arrive. Malhar was very excited to see him, because he had not seen him in a long time. Finally, he heard a knock on the door, and when he opened it, there was his grandfather, with a big smile on his face..

”Hello Malhar!” said Grandpa, hugging his grandson tightly. ”How are you?” ”I’m good, Grandpa!” replied Malhar, grinning from ear to ear.

Devadas had come all the way from India to visit Malhar and his family in Amsterdam. Malhar was very happy to have him there, and they spent the day talking, playing games, and laughing together.

The next day, Malhar and his grandfather decided to go to the Amsterdam Zoo named Artis. Malhar was very excited, because he loved animals, especially lions. They got on the tram, and soon they arrived at the zoo.

As they walked in the zoo, Malhar’s eyes grew wide with wonder at all the di↵erent animals they saw. There were monkeys swinging from trees, zebras grazing in a field, and even a group of elephants bathing in a pool. But Malhar’s favorite animal was the lion.

Finally, they arrived at the lion’s enclosure. Malhar’s heart was beating fast with excitement as he watched the majestic animals from behind a safety fence. His grandfather told him all about lions, how they hunt, how they live in prides, and how they are endangered in the wild.

As they walked away from the lion’s enclosure, Malhar’s grandfather suggested they take a break and get some ice cream. They sat down at a nearby bench and enjoyed the cold, sweet treat. Malhar was happy to be spending time with his grandfather, and he felt very loved and cared for.

But then something unexpected happened. As they were walking back to the lion’s enclosure, they heard a loud roar coming from the sky. They looked up and saw a hot air balloon floating above the zoo. It was colorful and bright, and Malhar thought it was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen.

Suddenly, Malhar’s grandfather had an idea. ”Let’s take a ride in that hot air balloon!” he exclaimed.

Malhar’s eyes widened with excitement. He had never been in a hot air balloon before. They rushed over to the balloon and bought tickets for a ride.

As they floated above the zoo, Malhar and his grandfather looked down at all the animals they had seen that day. Malhar felt a sense of awe and wonder at the beauty and diversity of the natural world.

When they landed back on the ground, Malhar’s grandfather gave him a big hug. ”I’m so glad we got to share this adventure together,” he said. ”These are the kinds of memories that will last a lifetime.”
