One day, as Anya was daydreaming about unicorns, she heard a magical sound outside her window. She looked outside and saw a beautiful white unicorn standing in her backyard.

Anya couldn’t believe her eyes! She ran outside to meet the unicorn, and to her surprise, the unicorn spoke to her. ”Hello, Anya,” said the unicorn. ”My name is Sparkles, and I am here to show you the magical world of being a unicorn. Would you like to come with me?”

Anya was thrilled and couldn’t say yes fast enough. Sparkles led her to a secret portal that transported them to a magical meadow. Anya couldn’t believe what she saw! The meadow was full of sparkling flowers, rainbows, and flying butterflies.

Sparkles showed Anya how to trot majestically through the meadow and how to fly on a rainbow. Anya was so happy that she had tears in her eyes. She loved being with unicorns and felt like she was living in a dream.

As they were flying on a rainbow, Anya spotted a castle made of starlight in the distance. ”Can we go there?” asked Anya excitedly.

”Of course!” said Sparkles. ”That’s the unicorn castle, where all the unicorns live.”

When they arrived at the castle, Anya saw unicorns of all colors and sizes. They all had magic horns and tails, and they wore tiaras made of starlight. Anya was in awe and felt like she had found her true home.

Sparkles took Anya to meet the unicorn queen, who welcomed her with open arms. ”We are happy to have you here, Anya,” said the queen. ”You are now part of our unicorn family.”

Anya was overjoyed and couldn’t believe her luck. She was living in a magical world where anything was possible. She was a unicorn, and she loved it.

But as the day went on, Anya started to feel hungry. She asked Sparkles if unicorns ate pasta, her favorite food, but Sparkles shook his head. ”No, Anya,” said Sparkles. ”Unicorns eat hay.”

Anya was disappointed. She loved pasta and couldn’t imagine eating hay. Suddenly, she realized that being a unicorn wasn’t all rainbows and starlight. There were things she would have to give up, like pasta and other human foods.

As the sun began to set, Sparkles took Anya back to the portal. ”It’s time to go home, Anya,” said Sparkles. ”But don’t worry, you can always come back and visit us.”

Anya said goodbye to the unicorns and promised to come back soon. When she arrived home, she went straight to the kitchen and made herself pasta. She realized that being a human wasn’t so bad after all. She could eat whatever she wanted, play with her toys, and read her favorite books.

She told her sister Maya all about the land of unicorns. And that being yourself is pretty great, too. You don’t have to be a unicorn to be happy. You can be happy just being you.

Anya is a curious and creative four-year-old girl who loves learning, playing with her little sister Maya, and has a lot of animal toys to play with, including dogs named Waterbar, Twinkle Toes, and Charlie Cook.
